Jay Marshall Wolman

Jay Marshall Wolman is a distinguished attorney with a practice centered in East Hartford, Connecticut. He has been involved in hundreds of contested matters, representing clients in both state and federal courts across Connecticut, Massachusetts, and nationwide. Civil litigation is a cornerstone of his practice, encompassing commercial disputes, consumer class actions, and personal injury claims, including products liability.

In his role as a civil litigator, Mr. Wolman has dedicated a significant portion of his practice to workplace matters. He represents both employers and employees in cases involving discrimination based on race, sex, pregnancy, and disability, as well as wage and hour disputes, occupational safety and health issues, and wrongful termination. His expertise also extends to reviewing and negotiating severance agreements and covenants not to compete.

Mr. Wolman holds leadership positions within the American Bar Association. He serves as the Social Media Vice Chair for the Workers’ Compensation and Employers’ Liability Committee and as the Chair of the Technology Subcommittee of the Automobile Law Committee within the ABA Section on Tort, Trial, and Insurance Practice. His past roles include Vice Chair of the Dispute Resolution Committee of the ABA Young Lawyers’ Division and Vice Chair of the ADR Committee of the DC Bar’s Litigation Section.
