Benjamin Folkinshteyn

Benjamin Folkinshteyn brings extensive experience in both domestic and international dispute resolution. His expertise covers contracts, torts, corporate governance litigation, and insurance litigation and arbitration. He frequently advises clients on litigation avoidance strategies and risk assessment in both legal and business contexts.

Before co-founding WFPC, Benjamin gained valuable experience at several prominent New York law firms. He also served as an Adjunct Professor at Fordham University School of Law, where he taught legal ethics. His practice includes representing clients in commercial disputes and investigations across industries such as energy, insurance, and financial services, at state, federal, and international levels.

Benjamin provides families with comprehensive legal analysis to evaluate risks and forecast potential litigation outcomes. He is also well-versed in conducting internal investigations and managing due diligence projects.

Committed to community service, Benjamin has been a long-time board member of the Kings Bay YM-YWHA in Brooklyn, NY, and actively supports his graduate alma mater through the Penn Law Alumni Society Board of Managers. He is also a member of the City of Stamford’s Board of Ethics.

Benjamin earned his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was awarded Order of the Coif. He completed his LL.M. in International Trade and Business magna cum laude at Fordham University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, the District of Columbia, several federal jurisdictions, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
