Christopher Gerard Brown

Since June 1, 2018, Christopher Gerard Brown has been dedicated to his own practice, focusing on foreclosure defense and appellate law as a sole practitioner. Before establishing his office, he was a principal at Gregory and Adams, P.C. in Wilton, Connecticut and New York, New York, from March 2017 to May 2018, serving clients in similar legal areas.

From 2002 to early 2017, Christopher was a partner at the Southport, Connecticut and Bronxville, New York law firm of Begos Brown & Green LLP, where he honed his expertise in foreclosure defense and civil appeals. His legal acumen has led to the dismissal of three foreclosure actions and successfully preventing a lender's involvement in a tax foreclosure, garnering attention from publications such as the Connecticut Law Tribune, the Fairfield County Business Journal, and the Commercial Record.

Christopher has an impressive appellate record, having appeared before the Connecticut Supreme Court twice, the Connecticut Appellate Court eight times, the Second Circuit twice, and the New York Appellate Division (First Department) once. Since 2010, his appellate work in Connecticut has predominantly focused on foreclosure defense, with only one exception involving a property issue linked to foreclosure.

His earlier career includes a period as a sole practitioner in Connecticut and New York from 2000 to 2002, and a role with Allegient Systems (formerly Law Audit Services) from 1998 to 2000, where he audited legal bills for major clients like insurance companies. Christopher began his career in New York City, working for a 25-lawyer litigation firm from 1992 to 1998.
