Jeremiah Nii-Amaa Ollennu

Jeremiah Nii-Amaa Ollennu has been a committed advocate for families since 2008, focusing on divorce mediation and family dispute resolution. Based in Groton, Connecticut, he has mediated complex divorce cases and represented clients in custody and child support matters. His firm is experienced in handling alimony claims, contempt and property settlement enforcement, post-judgment modifications, and grandparents’ rights.

Mediation is a preferred method for resolving family disputes, offering the flexibility needed to address family differences. However, Attorney Ollennu also vigorously represents clients in traditional divorce proceedings when necessary.

He is frequently appointed by Superior Court Judges as an attorney for minor children (AMC) to advocate for children's interests in Family Courts, Juvenile Courts, and Child Protection cases. Additionally, he serves as a guardian ad litem (GAL), focusing on the best interests of children in contentious family disputes.

Previously, Attorney Ollennu served as a law clerk at Middlesex Superior Court in Middletown, Connecticut. He graduated from Vermont Law School and earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Economic Law from the University of Kent, Canterbury, U.K.

He is admitted to the Connecticut Bar and the New York Bar, and is a member of the Middlesex County Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, and American Bar Association. He is also admitted to practice in the Districts of Connecticut and the United States District Courts.

A native of Ghana, he is licensed to practice law in both the United States and Ghana.
