About Carmine Perri
Carmine Perri has been a dedicated member of the legal community since his admission to the Connecticut Bar in 2005 and the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut the same year. He further extended his qualifications by joining the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in 2011.
A committed member of the Connecticut Bar Association Elder Law Section and the Connecticut Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (N.A.E.L.A), Carmine has been recognized for his expertise by being named a New England Elder Law “Rising Star” by New England Super Lawyers magazine for six consecutive years.
In 2011, Carmine was appointed to the Probate Court Rules Advisory Committee, where he played a crucial role in drafting and revising rules on probate procedure and practice. This 26-member committee included judges, attorneys, court staff, and public representatives.
Carmine contributed to the 2016 revision of the “Court-Appointed Attorneys in Courts of Probate” manual and serves on the Connecticut Bar Journal’s Board of Editors. His advocacy was highlighted in a Connecticut Supreme Court decision on February 1, 2018, where his clients successfully challenged a Department of Social Services determination regarding a spousal support order.
Carmine earned his law degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2005, following his bachelor's degree in Philosophy in 2002.
