Sydney Legagneur

Sydney Legagneur is an attorney at Rich Rochlin Law Group in Litchfield County, Connecticut, specializing in family law. Growing up in a large family, she developed a deep understanding of complex family dynamics, which she applies to her work with victims and families. Her goal is to find solutions that are both thoughtful and practical.

Sydney earned her degree from Providence College in 2019, majoring in Social Work, Humanities, and Business. During her studies, she gained valuable experience working with diverse communities. She furthered her education at Villanova University’s Charles Widger School of Law, where she served as president of the Family Law Society and participated in internships across Philadelphia and Connecticut, gaining hands-on experience.

Following law school, Sydney served as a judicial law clerk for the Connecticut Superior Court, managing various disputes, including family matters. She now applies this experience in her current role, guiding clients through challenging situations and seeking meaningful resolutions.

A Connecticut native, Sydney resides in Vernon with her partner and their dog, Dale-Murphy. In her free time, she enjoys singing acapella, attending sporting events like Providence College basketball and UConn football, and discovering new restaurants locally and during her travels.
