Eric Lindh Foster

Eric Lindh Foster has an extensive legal career spanning over two decades, specializing in consumer financial services law, consumer protection, and debtor’s rights. He provides legal counsel on matters involving credit card debt, mortgages, and various consumer loans. His representation extends to clients involved in consumer class actions and commercial litigation.

During his time on Wall Street, Eric advised prominent commercial banks and their securities broker/dealer affiliates on compliance issues. He played a significant role in representing these institutions during the legislative process of major financial services reforms, such as the Graham-Leach Bliley Act and the Dodd-Frank Act.

In recent years, Eric's practice has honed in on helping consumers who have been sold unsuitable financial products and services, including home mortgages, home equity lines of credit, credit cards, and payday loans.

Before founding Lindh Foster, LLC, Eric spent 22 years practicing banking and securities law in New York, Washington D.C., London, and Hong Kong. He has previously served as regulatory legal counsel with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association. His expertise includes providing compliance and legal advice on trading activities and finance transactions for leading dealers in fixed income securities, foreign exchange, commodities, and derivatives.

Eric is a member of the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, and the New York State Bar Association.
