Laurie Rubinow

Laurie Rubinow serves as a Partner at Miller Shah LLP's Chester office, focusing on whistleblower, antitrust, consumer, complex commercial, and insurance litigation. Her legal journey began with an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, followed by a law degree from Temple University School of Law. Laurie further enhanced her expertise with a Certificate in Negotiation, Mediation, and Conflict Resolution from Seton Hall University School of Law.

During law school, Laurie gained practical experience through internships with the U.S. Lawyer’s Office, the Public Defender’s Office, the Pennsylvania Counsel General’s Office, and United States Magistrate Judge Powers. Her career in the courtroom includes roles as both an associate and a solo practitioner, leading to over a decade as in-house counsel at a nationally recognized insurance company. In her role as National Manager, she managed five regional field offices handling complex insurance litigation, including toxic tort and environmental cases.

Since joining Miller Shah LLP in 2005, Laurie has represented clients in significant cases involving antitrust, consumer protection, securities, and insurance litigation. She played a key role in the State of Connecticut's litigation against several pharmaceutical manufacturers. Laurie is actively involved in the Chester Bar Association and the Connecticut Bar Association, and she has held elected office on her local school board, demonstrating her commitment to community service.

Laurie also contributes to legal education as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Sociology at Central Connecticut State University. Her dedication to pro bono work is evident in her representation of numerous clients in federal and state proceedings. Additionally, she possesses substantial experience in employment, intellectual property, and real estate matters.
