Donna L. Buttler

Donna L. Buttler has been serving clients in the Farmington Valley since 1994. She began her academic journey at the University of Rochester, earning honors with a dual degree in Biology and Chemistry. Following her initial career at Aetna Life and Casualty, Donna pursued legal studies at the University of Connecticut School of Law, graduating with honors and ranking third in her class.

Donna's legal career commenced with a position at a prominent Hartford law firm and a clerkship with the Connecticut court under the Honorable Michael R. Sheldon. In 1997, she embarked on solo practice, leading to the establishment of her current firm, Murphy, Laudati, Kiel, Buttler & Rattigan, in 2010. The firm operates offices in Farmington, Bloomfield, and Granby.

Her practice is focused on Family Law, addressing issues such as divorce, child custody, parenting plans, support, alimony, restraining orders, and premarital agreements. Donna's approach emphasizes rebuilding family stability and financial security post-divorce or separation.
