About Patrick Christopher Gallagher
Patrick Christopher Gallagher, originally from southern West Virginia, has built a distinguished legal career in Delaware. He earned his B.A. in Economics, magna cum laude, from Elon University in 2002, followed by a cum laude graduation from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2005. During law school, he actively participated in mock trial, Moot Court, and Law Review.
After law school, Patrick returned to West Virginia to work at a prominent defense law firm, where he represented clients in consumer finance, deliberate intent, and Mine Safety Health Administration disputes. In 2008, he relocated to the Wilmington, Delaware area, joining a major Wilmington law firm to focus on corporate litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery.
In 2009, Patrick moved to Dover and joined a smaller firm where he expanded his practice areas to include personal injury, household law, and criminal defense. Over time, his litigation expertise grew to encompass estate administration/probate, bankruptcy, real estate litigation, landlord/tenant issues, civil legal interests, employment law, and small business representation.
Currently, Patrick concentrates his practice on personal injury, employment discrimination, and civil rights. He has litigated cases at every level of the Delaware courts, including the Delaware Supreme Court, and frequently appears in the Federal District Court for the District of Delaware.
Patrick is actively involved in his community, serving on the Board of Directors for Delaware’s Community Legal Aid Society, Inc., the Kent County Bar Association Board, the Executive Committee of the Delaware State Bar Association, and the Delaware Supreme Court’s Board of Bar Examiners as an associate member. He also co-chairs the Delaware Combined Campaign for Justice.
Outside of his professional life, Patrick enjoys cycling, spending time with his wife and cocker spaniel, and practicing guitar.
