Mary Higgins

With decades of legal expertise, Mary Higgins is a dedicated advocate in the fields of Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation, serving clients across Delaware and New Jersey. Her extensive experience includes representing both individuals and corporations, providing her with a well-rounded perspective on complex legal issues.

Mary's commitment to justice extends to her pro bono work, where she has served as a guardian for vulnerable adults and acted as a Fair Hearing Officer for the State of Delaware Department of Health and Social Services. Her dedication to public service is further highlighted by her Master’s Degree in Public Administration and recognition as a Public Service Fellow from the University of Delaware. Additionally, she was named a Graduate Woman of Excellence.

Her legal career began at Widener University School of Law, where she was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Harrington Inn Honor Society. She distinguished herself by winning the Philadelphia Bar Association Judge Irvin Stander Memorial Prize in Administrative Law. Following law school, Mary refined her legal skills as a Law Clerk to the Honorable William L. Witham, Jr., at the Delaware Superior Court.

Outside her professional life, Mary resides in Delaware with her husband, a dog, and three adopted cats. They are also hosts to international students from the University of Delaware, providing a welcoming environment and fostering cultural exchange.
