Paige J. Alderson

Paige J. Alderson serves as senior counsel at Grant & Eisenhofer, where her practice is centered on complex pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, along with sexual assault and retaliation claims. Located in Edgemoor, Delaware, she is a committed advocate for the rights of individuals and families affected by large corporations and survivors of sexual assault, discrimination, and harassment.

Ms. Alderson has successfully represented thousands of injured victims in nationally coordinated litigations against major pharmaceutical companies. Her notable cases include the Gilead Tenofovir Suits (JCCP No. 5043), where she represented members of the HIV community harmed by Gilead Sciences, Inc.'s negligent design of tenofovir-based antiretroviral medications.

She also handled Baby Formula Cases, advocating for infants and their families injured due to Mead Johnson and Abbott Laboratories' failure to warn about the risks of their cow’s milk-based formulas to pre-term babies. Additionally, she was involved in the In re: Philips Recalled CPAP, Bi-Level PAP, and Mechanical Ventilator Products Litigation (MDL No. 3014), representing individuals suffering from respiratory damages, cancer, and death caused by Philips' negligence and failure to warn about the risks of their devices.

In her role, Ms. Alderson has also represented clients in the In re Smith & Nephew Birmingham Hip Resurfacing (BHR) Hip Implant Products Liability Litigation (MDL No. 2775) and the In re Stryker LFIT V40 Femoral Head Products Liability Litigation (MDL No. 2768), advocating for individuals injured by Metal-on-Metal hip devices. Furthermore, she played a crucial role in the In re Essure Product Cases (JCCP 4887) settlement, which resulted in $1.6 billion in compensation for women suffering severe injuries from the Essure permanent birth control device.
