Bryan McCarthy

Bryan McCarthy is a skilled lawyer committed to defending individuals facing misdemeanor and felony charges in Central Florida. He possesses extensive experience from his roles in both private practice and as a public defender, having represented numerous clients in complex criminal matters.

Bryan earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida State University in 2007, followed by his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law in 2010. He began his legal career as an associate attorney at a criminal defense firm in New York, where he managed appeals, handled a variety of cases, and conducted client consultations.

In 2011, Bryan returned to Florida to serve as a public defender at the Office for the 18th Judicial Circuit in Brevard County, where he represented clients in both misdemeanor and felony cases. By 2015, Bryan had transitioned back to private practice, establishing his own firm, The Law Offices of Bryan J. McCarthy, P.A.

Bryan is an active member of the Brevard County Bar Association, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Orange County Bar Association. His dedication to criminal defense is evident through his ongoing involvement in the legal community.
