Cassidy V. Petersen

Beginning her career in 2011, Cassidy V. Petersen has progressed through various roles, starting as a receptionist, advancing to an estate planning paralegal, and later serving as the firm administrator before becoming an attorney. Her expertise is centered on estate planning, business succession planning, probate, trust administration, Medicaid planning, VA planning, guardianship, and special needs planning.

A native of Melbourne, Florida, Ms. Petersen graduated from Melbourne High School in 2011. She earned her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Management, cum laude, from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2014. She then pursued her legal education at Stetson University College of Law, obtaining her Juris Doctor (J.D.), cum laude, in 2018, where she was among the top 10% of her class. Her decision to attend Stetson was influenced by their Elder Law Concentration Program. Concurrently, she completed her Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at Stetson University in 2018.

Ms. Petersen is actively involved in the legal community as a founding member of the National Alliance of Attorneys for Alzheimer’s Planning (N3AP) and is a member of both the Vassar B. Carlton American Inn of Court and the Brevard County Bar Association.
