Benjamin A. Goldburd

Benjamin A. Goldburd serves as a partner at the esteemed Goldburd McCone LLP in New York City. His practice primarily focuses on tax law, covering both business and consumer tax issues. In addition, he is adept in cannabis law, mergers and acquisitions, and provides general corporate counsel.

With over eight years of experience, Mr. Goldburd represents clients in New York, New Jersey, Florida, and California, extending his services across the nation and internationally. He is renowned for his tenacity and dedication in the courtroom, consistently advocating with a commitment to his clients' needs.

Mr. Goldburd earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, graduating magna cum laude from Brooklyn College, where he was on the dean’s list. He served as the editor-in-chief of the Brooklyn College Pre-Law Journal and was the chief political editor of the Brooklyn College Night Call Journal. He was also an active member of the Brooklyn College Accounting Society.

Pursuing his legal education, Mr. Goldburd received his Juris Doctor from the Fordham University School of Law. During law school, he gained hands-on experience as a student attorney at the university’s tax clinic. His exceptional contributions to the field have earned him recognition as one of the Top 40 Under 40 Tax Lawyers in New York by the American Society of Legal Advocates.

Mr. Goldburd is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers Association, and the New York State Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in New York and is licensed to appear before the Supreme Court of New York, the Supreme Court of New Jersey, the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit, and both the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
