Phillip B. Rarick

Phillip B. Rarick brings nearly 30 years of extensive experience in both private and public courtroom settings. His practice is concentrated in estate planning, asset protection, probate, and business law. By integrating asset protection strategies with estate planning, he aims to protect clients' wealth while ensuring tax advantages.

An active member of the Elder Law Section and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar, Mr. Rarick is deeply involved in the legal community. He serves as the primary writer and editor for the Miami Trusts & Probate Alert newsletter and blog, sharing valuable insights and updates.

Mr. Rarick has authored several well-regarded guides, including "Florida Asset Protection: 7 Key Methods For The Small Business Owner, Physician, And Other Professionals," "Florida Probate Quick Reference Guide," and "Understanding Living Trusts for Florida Residents." His leadership roles include serving as the past President of the Miami Lakes Bar Association and as a Director since its inception in 2005.

A native of Indiana, Mr. Rarick earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, and his J.D. from Indiana University Law School, Indianapolis. From 1983 to 1987, he served as counsel to the National Association of Attorneys General. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court.

Outside of his professional commitments, Mr. Rarick is married to Nancy C. Rarick and is the father of three children: Ashley, Joshua, and Hannah. Though retired from coaching, he dedicated over thirteen years to youth basketball and soccer in the Miami Lakes and Weston communities.
