About Robson Powers
Robson David Charles Powers, Esq. is a founding partner of Powers & Rogers, PLLC, located in Cape Coral, Florida. His practice spans a diverse range of high-stakes litigation, including commercial disputes, breach of contract cases, real estate disputes, landlord-tenant disputes, and probate and trust litigation.
Robson graduated cum laude from the University of South Florida in 2009, earning a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with Certificates in Latin American Studies and Portuguese. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 2012, where he was awarded the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award.
Before founding his firm, Mr. Powers served as managing legal counsel at a law firm in Lee County and previously managed a civil litigation office in Cape Coral, Florida. From 2017 to 2024, Robson was recognized as a "Rising Star" by Florida Super Lawyers Magazine, an honor given to the top 2.5% of the state's young lawyers. The "Rising Stars" designation is limited to attorneys under 40 or those with 10 years or less of practice.
Robson is also a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, an honorary society for trial lawyers comprising less than 0.5% of American lawyers. In 2023, he was listed among the "Top 100" by The National Black Lawyers. Earlier, in 2016, he was named "Top 40 Under 40" in Florida by the same organization. Membership in The National Black Lawyers is by invitation only, recognizing those with superior leadership, reputation, and results.
