Nicole Goetz

Nicole Lange Goetz (formerly Nicole Lange Smith) was born in Virginia and raised in Southwest Florida. She graduated cum laude from the University of South Florida in 1993, where she excelled academically, earning a perfect GPA in her major and consistently appearing on the Dean's list. She was also a member of two national honor societies. Ms. Goetz furthered her education at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, graduating with honors in 1997.

After law school, Ms. Goetz began her legal career as a staff legal counsel at Brevard County Judicial Aid, assisting indigent clients in various legal matters. In 1999, she joined the Twentieth Judicial Circuit in Florida as a staff attorney. During her tenure in Collier County, she provided critical research and recommendations on numerous legal issues, including county to circuit appeals and extraordinary writs.

In 2003, Ms. Goetz joined the law firm of Asbell & Ho, P.A. as an associate attorney, focusing on complex family law litigation and appeals. She briefly left to manage a family-owned aerial operation and advocate for a successful right-of-way maintenance company. Upon her return, she became a shareholder in 2006 and served as managing shareholder from 2007 to 2010.

In 2010, Ms. Goetz founded her own firm, Nicole L. Goetz, P.L., where she continues to specialize in family law, leveraging her extensive legal experience.
