Jonah M. Wolfson

Jonah M. Wolfson is a seasoned attorney specializing in personal injury law in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Raised in Miami, he pursued his undergraduate studies at Boston College, where he majored in English. During his time in college, he worked on a commercial fishing boat in Gloucester, Massachusetts, demonstrating his strong work ethic. After graduation, Jonah embarked on a five-month journey hiking the Appalachian Trail before attending Chicago-Kent College of Law.

While in law school, Jonah gained practical experience as an intern at the Cook County Office of the Public Defender, where he honed his litigation skills by trying numerous disputes to verdict. It was also in Chicago that he met his wife, Andrea. Upon returning to Florida, Jonah passed the Bar Exam on his first attempt and has since dedicated his career to personal injury law.

Jonah is licensed to practice in Florida and has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in cases involving wrongful death, car accidents, motorcycle incidents, slip and fall, negligent security, medical errors, legal malpractice, and other complex tort matters. Before focusing exclusively on plaintiffs, he spent over three years with Valle, Craig, Sioli, and Lynott, PA, specializing in insurance defense litigation.

Public service is a significant aspect of Jonah's career. In 2007, he was elected to the Miami Beach City Commission, where he chaired several committees, including Land Use, Finance, Flooding, and Sustainability. As a commissioner and leader of "Let Miami Beach Decide," he successfully opposed a mega-development project on public land through strategic petitioning and litigation. Occasionally, Jonah represents victims of overdevelopment, such as condo associations or residents, but since 2005, he has primarily focused on advocating for plaintiffs who have suffered due to others' misconduct.
