Tom Hunker

Tom Hunker is a highly regarded appellate attorney based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. As a Board Certified, AV Rated lawyer, Tom has accumulated many years of experience handling appeals in both state and federal courts. His expertise spans a broad range of legal practice areas, making him a trusted resource for formulating litigation strategies and crafting compelling arguments.

Before founding Hunker Appeals, Tom achieved magna cum laude honors from law school, interned with the Florida House of Representatives, and clerked for the Florida Supreme Court. He also served as in-house appellate counsel for a motor vehicle insurance company and led a team of appellate attorneys as a Partner at one of Florida's largest law firms.

Currently, Tom is an active member of the Florida Bar Appellate Practice Certification Committee and the Board of Directors of the Florida Claims Defense Network. He also serves as General Counsel for an international manufacturing and production company. His practice focuses on disputes involving complex and novel issues, where he applies his unique skills to develop innovative solutions for his clients.
