Dennis Hernandez

Dennis Hernandez, Esq., a fifth-generation Florida native, has been a steadfast advocate for injury victims for over 30 years. Born and raised in Florida, he became a lawyer at the young age of 23. Throughout his career, Dennis has been dedicated to representing individuals injured in various incidents, including car accidents, motorcycle crashes, truck collisions, and product liability cases, across the state of Florida.

Dennis earned his degree in Economics from Duke University and went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law. Further enhancing his legal expertise, he obtained a Master of Law (LL.M.) from Harvard Law School.

In 1996, Dennis established Dennis Hernandez Injury Attorneys, a firm committed to helping victims of motorcycle, truck, and car accidents recover compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, and pain and suffering. The firm has expanded its presence with offices in Tampa, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, Bradenton, Orlando, Fort Myers, and Lakeland (by appointment).

Dennis has successfully managed numerous high-stakes cases, securing major verdicts and settlements, including a $17 million verdict for a motorcycle accident victim and a $15 million verdict for an auto accident. His accomplishments also include recovering $7.5 million from an auto crash bad faith and $7 million from a motorcycle crash bad faith.

He is admitted to practice in Florida state courts, U.S. District Courts, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. His trial skills are fortified by advanced training from the Trial Lawyers College and the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA). Dennis is an active member of the Florida Justice Association, the American Association for Justice, and the Florida Bar. His firm operates on a contingency-fee basis, ensuring clients pay nothing unless they win.
