Jonathan E. Freidin

Jonathan E. Freidin serves as the Managing Partner at Freidin Brown, P.A., where he has been a key figure since 2014. Based in Fort Myers, Florida, Jonathan focuses on medical malpractice and complex personal injury claims, representing families in numerous jury trials involving catastrophic injuries. His dedication to clients and attention to detail are well recognized within the firm.

Jonathan graduated from George Washington University in 2009, where he was awarded the Presidential Merit Scholarship and served as a Student Justice on the disciplinary court. He later earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2012. During law school, he contributed as an editor for the Florida Law Review and gained practical experience as a Certified Judicial Intern at the Public Defender’s Office, advocating for indigent clients in court. He also served as a judicial extern for Judge Alan Gold in the Southern District of Florida. Jonathan received book awards for his top grades in Appellate Advocacy and Child, Parent, & the State, and worked as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Research & Writing and Appellate Advocacy.

Prior to joining Freidin Brown, P.A., Jonathan acquired valuable experience as a federal law clerk for the Honorable Donald M. Middlebrooks at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. In this role, he managed a variety of federal cases, including patent infringement, tort liability, employment discrimination, civil rights violations, and fraud. He also contributed to appellate cases when Judge Middlebrooks served on the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
