Philip Freidin

Philip Freidin brings five decades of legal expertise to his practice, focusing on representing clients who have suffered serious injuries due to the wrongful acts of others. His work has been pivotal in some of Florida's most significant personal injury and medical malpractice cases, earning him a reputation as a cornerstone of the South Florida legal community. A federal judge has acknowledged his exceptional status, noting he is 'unquestionably among the upper echelons of lawyers in our district.'

Since 1989, Phil has been Board Certified in Civil Trial Law, a distinction he has maintained through three recertifications. This certification highlights his specialized knowledge, skills, and ethical practice in civil trial law. Throughout his career, Phil has successfully conducted over 200 jury trials and approximately 100 non-jury trials, all centered on personal injury and medical misconduct.

Phil's leadership extends to his active involvement with the Florida Justice Association since 1984, where he has served as Secretary, Treasurer, and President. This organization, the largest of its kind for plaintiffs' lawyers in Florida, had 3,500 members when he held these roles.

His esteemed position in the legal field has been recognized by Florida Governors, U.S. Senators, and Florida Supreme Court Justices. Over 17 years, Phil has served on various Judicial Nominating Commissions at both state and federal levels, contributing to the appointment of more than 60 judges.
