Susan C. Odess

Susan C. Odess directs the firm's specialty in insurance and construction litigation. Her team is dedicated to handling complex insurance coverage disputes and claims, advocating for homeowners, commercial property owners, community associations, and businesses against major insurance and construction entities.

Susan earned her bachelor's degree from Catholic University of America and her juris doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. During law school, she served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Adalberto Jordan, a United States Circuit Judge for the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

With over 15 years of experience, Susan is a recognized authority in managing first-party property insurance claims involving water, wind, fire, and hurricane damage. She represents clients in Florida's state and federal courts, with extensive trial, appraisal, and arbitration experience.
