He earned his law degree from Stetson’s College of Law, with a memorable graduation moment when his grandfather, Maurice Wagner, a Stetson Law alum and trailblazer in personal injury law, presented him with his diploma in 2005. Maurice Wagner was honored with the Tobias Simon award by the Florida Supreme Court for his dedication to justice.
In 2017, Carey returned to South Florida, reconnecting with the roots of his family's legal practice. Today, he co-manages Meldon Law with his father, Jeffrey Meldon, across three Florida locations. The firm comprises five lawyers and over 20 staff members, emphasizing individual client relationships and comprehensive legal services.
