Gilbert J Alba

Gilbert J Alba, a native of Central Florida, has consistently demonstrated a commitment to hard work throughout his career. While earning his undergraduate degree at the University of Central Florida, he gained valuable experience as a litigation assistant at one of Florida's premier Intellectual Property law firms. Balancing full-time studies and employment, he graduated with honors in 2000, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

Following his undergraduate success, Gil relocated to Gainesville to attend the University of Florida Levin College of Law. His academic excellence was recognized with the Atwood Dunwoody Scholarship. Despite maintaining part-time employment, he achieved honors and high honors, graduating in the top third of his class in 2003.

Admitted to the Florida Bar in 2004, Gil began leading the personal injury department at a well-regarded local law office in Gainesville. His professionalism and dedication quickly earned him a partnership at his previous firm. In 2013, leveraging his extensive expertise, he co-founded The Law Office of Alba & Dubose, P.A. with J. Mark Dubose.

Gil is fluent in Spanish, which enhances his ability to serve Spanish-speaking clients effectively. Proud of his Latino heritage, he is deeply connected to his community. An avid supporter of Gator sports, he is a Gator booster and enjoys spending quality time with his family and engaging in various community activities.
