About Jack Fine
Jack Fine, born in New York, New York, was raised in the northeast and pursued his undergraduate studies in sociology at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. He graduated with honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 1976, where he was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, inducted into the Order of the Coif, and ranked in the top 10 percent of his class.
Mr. Fine was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1976, followed by the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida in 1977, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida in 1991, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit in 1982. He began his legal career as an Assistant Public Defender in the Third Judicial Circuit in Lake City (1976-1977), and later in Gainesville (1977-1980).
In 1980, Mr. Fine founded what is now known as Fine, Farkash, & Parlapiano, P.A., focusing on personal injury law to advocate for victims against negligent parties. Recognized for his dedication to the legal field, he holds Martindale-Hubbell's highest rating (AV). His leadership includes serving as the Grievance Committee Chairman for the Eighth Judicial Circuit from 2006 to 2008.
Mr. Fine has contributed to legal education by coaching a trial team at the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 1994 and has been an adjunct faculty member teaching trial work since 1983.
