Joshua Hertz

Joshua Hertz is the Founding Owner of The Law Offices of Joshua J. Hertz, PA, based in Hialeah, Florida. His legal journey began in the late 1990s, clerking for Eric Hertz P.C. in Atlanta, where he contributed to trials resulting in record-breaking verdicts in Georgia. After earning his J.D. from St. Thomas University Law School in 2001, Joshua was driven by a commitment to establish his own firm, focusing on representing injured clients against insurance companies.

Joshua is a distinguished graduate of the Florida Bar Leadership Academy, an honor extended to only 40 attorneys annually. His leadership roles include serving on the executive board of the Florida Bar Law Office Management Committee and chairing the Dade County Bar Association's Solo and Small Firm Committee. Since 2015, he has been a member of the Executive Committee for the Solo and Small Firm Section of the Florida Bar.

Joshua's educational background includes a B.A. in Accounting and Management from the University of South Carolina, obtained in 1997. He is licensed to practice in all Florida State Courts, as well as the Southern, Middle, and Northern District Courts of Florida.

An active participant in the legal community, Joshua serves as the current President of the Dominican American Bar Association and holds a position on the Board of Advisors for St. Thomas Law School. His recognitions include being named a Super Lawyer in 2012, 2013, and 2014, and receiving the Outstanding Young Alumni award from St. Thomas Law School in 2007. He was also honored with the 40 Under 40 award for Miami-Dade County in 2012.
