About Ronald Leon Bornstein
Ronald Leon Bornstein has dedicated more than 36 years to handling intricate marital and family law cases throughout Florida. His expertise extends to probate and guardianship matters, where he also serves as a mediator, guardian ad litem, attorney ad litem, and special magistrate. Mr. Bornstein has contributed to several reported appellate opinions and has presented arguments before the Florida Supreme Court.
In 2022, Mr. Bornstein was honored as one of Florida Trend's Legal Elite, and he was named Family Lawyer of the Year in 2009 by the Palm Beach County Legal Aid Society. His commitment to the profession, community, and those in need has been acknowledged by the Florida Supreme Court. Additionally, he received the Florida Bar Family Law Section's Unsung Hero Award in June 2015 and June 2017 for his dedicated service to Florida's families and the Family Law Section.
Mr. Bornstein actively participates in the Florida Bar Family Law Section, serving on the Children's Issues Committee, Support Issues Committee, Equitable Distribution Committee, Rules & Forms Committee, and Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, among others. His leadership roles include past Chair of several committees such as the Rules & Forms, Support Issues, and Alternative Dispute Resolution Committees. He also served as Vice Chair of the Legislation and Equitable Distribution Committees, and was a member of the Family Law Section's Executive Council for 12 years.
His involvement extends to the Palm Beach County Bar Association Family Law Practice Committee and the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit's Family Law Advisory Group. Mr. Bornstein is a founding member and Vice Chair of the Collaborative Divorce Team, and has held leadership positions such as Chair of the Florida Bar 15th Circuit Grievance Committee 15A and Vice Chair of the Florida Bar Family Law Rules Committee.
