About Brian Max Monk
Brian Max Monk has dedicated his career to serving the Central Florida community, where he has lived nearly all his life. He graduated in 2000 from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Business Management and a B.A. in Political Science. He furthered his education at the same institution, earning a Law degree, a Master’s of Education, and a Specialist degree in counseling. During law school, Brian obtained a Certificate in Family Law and was honored as a Fellow of the UF Law Center on Children and Families.
After completing law school, Brian served as an Assistant State Attorney in Ocala, Florida. In this role, he prosecuted both felony and misdemeanor cases, leading nearly fifty jury trials. His expertise is reflected in his legal writing, which has been published in the Florida Bar Journal (November 2013, Volume 87, No. 9), and through several reported appellate decisions in marital and family law.
Brian Monk is licensed to practice in both State and Federal Court in Florida. He leverages his unique training and experience in his practice areas, which include marital and family law, criminal defense, and personal injury.
