William J Dennis

William J. Dennis, originally from Texas, has called Lakeland home since 1996. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida and pursued his law degree at Liberty University School of Law, where he was recognized as a Dean’s Scholar. During his law school years, he engaged actively in community service and gained valuable experience working in the General Counsel department of a Fortune 500 company.

In 2013, William embarked on his legal career as a prosecutor in the 10th Judicial Circuit of Florida. In this role, he managed thousands of cases, ranging from second-degree misdemeanors to capital felonies. His prosecutorial career culminated in the crimes against children division, where he dedicated his efforts to safeguarding children from physical and sexual abuse. William is highly experienced in the courtroom, having tried over 35 cases before a jury, often resulting in significant sentences for defendants.
