Brian K. Cunha

Brian K. Cunha is an accomplished associate attorney at Slappey & Sadd, specializing in Workers' Damages. He joined the firm in 2011 after graduating cum laude from Georgia State University College of Law. During his time at Georgia State, Brian was an active member of the executive committee for the Moot Court Team.

Before law school, Brian earned a political science degree with a concentration in legal studies from Kennesaw State University, graduating magna cum laude. His early legal experience includes clerking at an insurance defense firm, which primarily handled workers' damages claims, setting the stage for his career in representing individuals in need.

Brian's dedication to the legal field was evident through his work at Georgia State’s HeLP Clinic, collaborating with Children’s Hospital of Atlanta to address legal issues faced by families of treated children. In 2010, he secured a grant from Emory University to work at the Georgia Advocacy Office, supporting individuals with mental and developmental disabilities. Additionally, his internship with the Georgia Hospital Association involved researching healthcare issues affecting state hospitals.

Since joining the State Bar of Georgia, Brian has dedicated his practice to exclusively representing injured workers against employers and insurers. He is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Atlanta Bar Association, and the Workers’ Compensation Claimant Lawyers section of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.
