Charlotte Ruble

Charlotte R. Ruble is a Partner at Meriwether & Tharp, LLC, where she focuses on family law. Since her admission to the Georgia Bar in 2011, Mrs. Ruble has developed significant expertise in litigating family law cases. She began her legal career under the guidance of the Chair of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia.

Mrs. Ruble has strong judicial and community connections in Cherokee and Forsyth County, Georgia. Her practice includes handling divorce, contempt, family violence, modification, and adoption cases in Forsyth, Hall, and nearby Northeastern Georgia counties. She earned her Juris Doctorate and a Certificate in Advanced Legal Writing from Mercer University School of Law in 2011. During her time at Mercer, she actively participated in the Association of Women Law Students, supporting charities such as the Ronald McDonald House.

Following her first year of law school, Mrs. Ruble interned with the Honorable Judge McElyea at the Superior Court of Cherokee County, where she conducted legal research and observed numerous court cases. Before pursuing law, she graduated cum laude with a Master's in International Business from Georgia State University and interned at the United States Consulate in Munich, Germany in 2008. She also holds a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and German from Georgia State University.

Mrs. Ruble leverages her business acumen to strategically plan for the financial aspects of family law cases. She assists clients in evaluating and dividing diversified investments, pensions, businesses, commingled funds, and accurately reported income, helping them reconfigure their financial situations to move forward post-case resolution.
