Brandon Alexander Thomas

Brandon Alexander Thomas is a highly experienced Criminal Defense lawyer in Athens, Georgia. Mr. Thomas obtained his law degree from Emory University School of Law and graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in political science from the State University of New York at Albany (SUNY).

Mr. Thomas previously served as an Assistant Federal Defender for the Middle District of Alabama in Montgomery, where he managed serious felony cases, including white collar crimes and drug and firearm offenses with potential life sentences. Before his federal defense role, he was an Assistant Public Defender in the Eastern Judicial Circuit of Georgia, Savannah, exclusively handling felony cases and leading jury trials.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Thomas worked on Wall Street as a plaintiff's attorney at Pelton & Graham, focusing on class action lawsuits to recover overtime wages under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
