Jonathan Avi Barash

Jonathan Avi Barash is a distinguished attorney with more than two decades of experience in handling a wide array of commercial litigation issues. His practice areas include business litigation, construction litigation, contract disputes, real estate disputes, restrictive covenants, shareholder and partnership disputes, business torts, business divorces, and commercial collections. Jon is highly skilled in representing businesses, government entities, and individuals in litigation, mediations, and arbitrations across state and federal courts.

Jon holds an AV® Preeminent Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting his superior litigation abilities and ethical standards. He is also recognized as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) by the U.S. Green Building Council, providing him with specialized expertise in building and construction law.

Licensed to practice in both Georgia and Florida, Jon is an active member of the Construction and Creditor’s Entitlements sections of the Georgia Bar Association and the Construction and Litigation sections of the Atlanta Bar Association. He earned his law degree with honors from the University of Florida College of Law in 1996.

Before establishing his own firm, Jon served as the Associate Director of the Anti-Defamation League’s Southeast Regional office and as an Assistant Public Defender in Tampa, Florida. He gained valuable experience at Magill & Atkinson and later became a partner at Levy & Pruett. In 2010, he founded the Law Office of Jonathan A. Barash, where he continues to provide exceptional legal services in commercial and construction litigation.
