David Stephen Klein

David S. Klein has a distinguished career spanning over thirty years, addressing a wide range of complex legal issues. After earning his law degree in 1994, he practiced in Massachusetts for eight years, focusing on Household and Business Law. Following his retirement from the Army after 27 years of service, David relocated to Augusta in 2002. There, he joined a leading law practice, further developing his skills under the guidance of some of Georgia's most esteemed attorneys.

David's legal expertise encompasses various areas, including defense of automobile and trucking accidents, product and premises liability, criminal defense, general tort defense, workers' compensation, professional liability for physicians and lawyers, commercial litigation, securities litigation, and estate planning and probate administration. His unique combination of 'Big Firm' case experience and small firm client service distinguishes him from his peers.

Currently, David's practice is centered on family law, probate, and criminal law. He is an active member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Additionally, David served as Lead Faculty and Area Chair in the College of Criminal Justice at the University of Phoenix's Augusta campus for nearly a decade. In this role, he taught a variety of graduate and undergraduate courses to law enforcement and criminal justice professionals while also overseeing the recruitment and training of adjunct faculty.
