Holly G Chapman

Holly G Chapman has established herself as a dedicated criminal defense attorney in Augusta, Georgia. Originally from Sandy Springs, Holly relocated to Augusta in 2009, embarking on a career focused on defending individuals in criminal cases. Her academic journey began with a degree in chemical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, followed by a law degree from Georgia State University, where she was distinguished with honors for her prowess in litigation.

Initially gaining experience at a small civil firm, Holly's commitment to justice led her to the field of criminal law. Over the past nine years, she has been involved in approximately fifty trials, serving as lead counsel in twenty-two. Her legal expertise spans a wide range of charges, including misdemeanor shoplifting, obstruction of law enforcement, aggravated assault, armed robbery, child molestation, and murder.

Holly has represented numerous clients across various courts, including Magistrate Court, State Court, Superior Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Georgia Supreme Court. Residing in Augusta with her husband, Mike, and their daughters, she is an active member of the local community. Her involvement extends to organizations such as the Augusta Bar Association, Young Lawyers of Augusta, Augusta Youth Development Campus Mock Trial and Great Debaters programs, Friends of the Augusta Library, and she is an alumna of Leadership Augusta (Class of 2016).
