Sheila Grider Wahman

Sheila Grider Wahman hails from Harlem, Columbia County, Georgia. She completed her high school education at Harlem High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Augusta University. Sheila initially worked in various corporate roles before transitioning to law enforcement in 2000, serving as a Columbia County Sheriff’s Deputy and later as a Magistrate Judge.

Motivated by her passion for law, Sheila pursued a legal education and obtained her Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School. She began her legal career as counsel with Fleming and Nelson LLP in Evans, focusing on governmental law. Currently, Sheila practices privately, concentrating on Family Law, including Juvenile Law, Adoption, Guardianship, Guardian Ad Litem, Custody Matters and Modifications, and Wills.

Sheila is actively involved in her community, serving on the Board of Directors for Columbia County DFCS, where she holds the position of Chairman. As a wife and mother of five, Sheila empathizes with the complexities of family life and is dedicated to supporting clients through their family-related legal decisions.
