Ms. Amanda L. Dean

Amanda L. Dean is committed to advocating for children in her legal practice. She currently holds the position of Judge Pro Tem in the Juvenile Courts of Dawson County and Hall County. Previously, she was appointed by the Georgia Attorney General as a Special Assistant Attorney General, representing the Hall County Department of Family and Children Services in Juvenile Court.

Ms. Dean focuses on handling dependency cases involving allegations of child mistreatment or neglect. She is actively involved in every stage of the court process, from the initial removal of a child from a home to either reunification with parents or termination of parental rights and subsequent adoption.

Amanda Dean also provides guidance to those involved in determining the best interests of the child, working to achieve outcomes such as placing the child with relatives or under parental custody through protective orders. Her passion extends to representing families in adoption cases, including State/DFCS and step-parent adoptions.
