Daesik Shin

Daesik Shin, originally from South Korea, relocated to California with his family during his childhood. After completing his primary and secondary education in California, he returned to Korea, where he graduated high school and earned a degree in Biochemistry at Yonsei University in Seoul. He served as a Korean Augmentation to the U.S. Army, excelling in interpretation and translation, and was honorably discharged as a sergeant.

Fluent in both English and Korean, Daesik pursued his legal education at Georgia State University College of Law. He has amassed substantial courtroom experience and is committed to resolving family law issues through amicable means. Before joining Meriwether & Tharp, LLC, Daesik managed his own law practice in Cobb County, specializing in family law.

Residing in Cherokee County with his wife, Sara, and their child, Christian, Daesik enjoys spending his weekends hiking at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park. An avid foodie, he also takes pleasure in cooking.
