Rebecca Lynn Smith

Rebecca Lynn Smith has a profound dedication to supporting families and children, shaped by her personal and professional experiences. Since completing her undergraduate education in 2011, Rebecca has held roles focused on aiding families facing challenges such as homelessness, substance abuse, mental health concerns, and domestic violence. Her journey into law was motivated by her personal encounters with child custody issues, providing her with a unique perspective and empathy for her clients' situations.

Rebecca received her Juris Doctorate from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School in 2024. During her studies, she balanced academic demands with practical experience, working part-time as a law clerk and volunteering as a Court Appointed Special Advocate ("CASA") to support children in foster care. An externship with the Juvenile Prosecutor in Coweta County further honed her courtroom skills.

Rebecca played a pivotal role in revitalizing the Family Law Society at her law school, initially serving as Vice President and then as President. Her leadership provided students with valuable opportunities to explore family law through networking events, job placements, and volunteer work.

Outside of her legal career, Rebecca enjoys spending quality time with her husband and three children. She is passionate about event planning, traveling, and maintaining an active lifestyle through regular gym visits.
