Andrew O’Connell

Andrew O’Connell is a passionate advocate for the rights of workers affected by injuries. With extensive experience as counsel, he represents both injured workers and employer/insurers in Georgia workers’ compensation claims. He established the O’Connell Law Practice to focus exclusively on advocating for injured workers.

Andrew earned his B.A. in History and Political Science, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia, where he was part of the Honors Program and the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He went on to receive his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law. While in law school, Andrew contributed as a Note Editor for the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law.

Raised in Decatur, Georgia, Andrew is proud to continue residing in his hometown. His wife, Erin, is also a legal counsel. Outside of his professional commitments, Andrew enjoys spending quality time with his wife, their two children, extended family, and friends, as well as supporting the Georgia Bulldogs.
