Joshua Landon Brownlee

Joshua Landon Brownlee, a native of Georgia, is an accomplished attorney with a robust background in criminal defense. He earned his B.A. from Georgia State University and his J.D. from John Marshall Law School, where he was an active member of the mock trial team. His exceptional skills earned him the 2009-2010 Judge Harold R. Banke Advocacy Award for his outstanding performance.

During law school, Mr. Brownlee demonstrated a commitment to protecting the rights of the indigent. He volunteered at the Metro Conflict Defender Office and the DeKalb County Public Defender's Office, gaining valuable experience by sitting second chair in both misdemeanor and felony trials under the Third Year Practice Act. Furthermore, he co-founded the Public Defender Club at John Marshall Law School under Jon Rapping's guidance and served as its President.

Before establishing his own practice, Mr. Brownlee worked at L. David Wolfe, P.C., where he handled criminal cases at both the trial and appellate levels. His legal expertise is recognized by his admission to practice in the Georgia Supreme Court, Georgia Superior Court, and the Federal Northern District of Georgia.

Prior to his legal career, Mr. Brownlee served six years in the United States Marine Corps, where he was honored with the Stinger Gunner Leadership Award in 2001. He completed a tour of duty in Al Anbar, Iraq, in 2004 as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom II, earning a certificate of commendation for his service.
