Lawton Jordan

Lawton Jordan, a partner at Williams Teusink, is a distinguished attorney with a focus on commercial real estate, business transactions, and land-use matters. He possesses extensive experience in commercial leasing, property sales, and acquisitions. Lawton is adept at drafting and negotiating a variety of real estate and corporate documents, including purchase and sale agreements, easements, and operating agreements.

In his active land-use practice, Lawton represents clients in rezonings, variances, stream buffer encroachments, and other land use entitlements. He frequently appears before governmental bodies, commissions, and courts to advocate for his clients' interests.

Lawton's expertise has earned him recognition in the “Litigation Elite” by Georgia Trend magazine. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association, and previously served on the executive committee of the Real Property Section of the State Bar.

Lawton earned his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law. Appointed by Governor Nathan Deal, he chaired the Georgia Ethics Commission until 2017. In 2019, he was appointed by Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms to the Atlanta Task Force for the Promotion of Public Trust. Lawton resides in Sandy Springs, Fulton County, Georgia, with his wife, Jen Jordan.
