Samantha Megan McClinton

Megan McClinton graduated in the top quarter of her class from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School in 2013, where she was recognized for her pro bono work and earned the AJMLS Excellence in Appellate Advocacy Award. Her legal career spans diverse areas, including family law, criminal defense, and insurance defense.

In her family law practice, Megan has managed cases ranging from uncontested divorces and name changes to complex grandparent custody disputes. As a public defender for the City of Atlanta, she handled numerous cases involving traffic offenses, criminal charges, and city ordinance violations, guiding clients from bond proceedings through trial. Her advocacy for houseless individuals and those with mental health challenges earned her the City of Atlanta Public Defender's Office Gideon Award in 2018.

Megan's background in insurance defense provides her with unique insights into how insurance companies operate, especially in automobile accident cases. This knowledge equips her to offer strategic legal counsel to personal injury clients, ensuring they have an advantage in their cases.

In 2022, Megan founded The McClinton Firm to expand her legal services to the community.
