Mr. Peterson began his legal career in Georgia, focusing on bankruptcy law, criminal defense, and civil litigation. Returning to Hawai’i in 2006, he joined the Legislative Reference Bureau at the State Capitol and gained extensive trial experience with the Office of the Public Defender in Honolulu. His career further advanced as an associate attorney at Klevansky Piper Van Etten, LLLP, where he concentrated on insurance coverage litigation and commercial bankruptcies and transactions.
