Robert Kenneth Olson

Robert K. Olson, an accomplished attorney located in Captain Cook, Hawaii, offers his expertise in a broad range of legal matters, with a focus on litigation. Robert adeptly manages civil, probate, trust, family, and criminal cases in the District, Family, and Circuit Courts of Kealakekua, Kailua-Kona, and Kamuela.

Born and raised in Kona, Robert's educational journey began at Konawaena Elementary and culminated with his graduation from Hawaii Preparatory Academy in 1995. During his time there, he excelled in athletics, serving as captain of the track and cross-country teams and playing basketball. His athletic achievements earned him the Career Athlete Award.

Continuing his education, Robert obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1999 from Brandeis University in Massachusetts, where he was also a captain of the cross-country team and achieved All-American status. He then pursued a Juris Doctor Degree from Western New England College of Law, graduating in 2002.

Following law school, Robert clerked for Judge Glenn S. Hara in the Third Circuit Court in Hilo. He then served as a Deputy Public Defender on Maui and O`ahu from 2005 to 2010, gaining substantial experience in both jury and non-jury trials.

Robert has been a proud member of the Hawai`i Bar since 2003, bringing a wealth of knowledge and courtroom experience to his practice.
