About Joy Mademba-Sy Yanagida

Joy Yanagida is the founder of Yanagida & Associates, a firm she started in 1991 with a focus on business law, real estate disputes, and family law. Her academic credentials include a J.D. from the Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley, and an A.B. with distinction from Stanford University.

Ms. Yanagida is licensed to practice law in Hawaii, the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawaii, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Additionally, she holds inactive memberships in the California and District of Columbia bars.
