Clarisse Kobashigawa

Clarisse Kobashigawa is a seasoned attorney in Honolulu, focusing on civil litigation encompassing personal injury, complex commercial disputes, real property and land use issues, and employment law. With a robust background in jury trials across Hawaii's federal and state courts, she is also well-versed in arbitration and mediation.

Clarisse boasts extensive experience in personal injury civil cases, including 42 U.S.C. §1983 civil rights abuses, toxic torts, pharmaceutical litigation, catastrophic injuries, and wrongful death claims. She has effectively advocated for diverse family, economic, and business interests in various legal forums, such as federal and state circuit courts, condominium and homeowners' association disputes, and alternative dispute resolution settings.

Born and raised in Honolulu, Clarisse pursued her education at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, earning a B.A. in Political Science. She then achieved her Juris Doctor from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she was honored with the CALI Award for excellence in Commercial Law (Secured Transactions).

Outside of her legal practice, Clarisse cherishes time with family and friends and actively participates in the Hawaii United Okinawan Association, dedicated to preserving Okinawan culture.
