Jed Louis Kurzban

Since 1995, Jed Louis Kurzban has been a dedicated legal counsel at Kurzban Kurzban Tetzeli & Pratt, P.A., becoming an equity partner in 2013. As the managing partner of this respected law firm, Jed leads with a commitment to excellence in representing those affected by negligence. His focus on trial law is demonstrated by his dedication to securing maximum recovery and justice for injured clients through successful verdicts and settlements.

Jed completed his legal education at the University of Miami School of Law in 1995. He is admitted to the bar in Florida, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. In 2015, he expanded his practice to Hawaii as Of Counsel with Damon Key Leong Kupchak Hastert.

His legal practice covers tort law, with a particular emphasis on medical malpractice, product liability, and personal injury disputes nationwide. Jed has achieved favorable outcomes as lead trial counsel in significant cases, particularly those involving kidney disease misdiagnosis or improper treatment.

Active in the legal community, Jed has served as vice-chair of the Dade County Bar Association Trial Section and on the Board of Directors for the Florida Justice Association. He has advocated for injured victims' rights in Tallahassee and collaborated with the University of Miami School of Law to enhance attorney ethics education.

A member of various bar associations, including the Dade County Bar, the Florida Bar, and the Hawaii Bar, Jed holds an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell. He has been recognized as a Distinguished Lawyer, Super Lawyer, Lawyer of Distinction, and among the 10 best Attorneys in South Florida.

Jed is the author of “How Justice Is Served,” a comprehensive trial guide for litigation attorneys, and hosts the podcast “Serving Justice with Jed Kurzban.”
